One Sound Minnesota invites the state to a night of unity, healing and hope
MINNEAPOLIS, Minn., Jan. 22, 2026 — In a time when many across Minnesota are searching for reassurance, connection and meaning, One Sound Minnesota is extending a simple but powerful invitation: to gather in one safe space where music heals, neighbors connect and hope becomes tangible.
More than a concert, One Sound Minnesota describes the experience as a shared heartbeat for the state. It is a moment where artists and neighbors come together to lift one another through the comforting power of song, the warmth of community and intentional reflection.
On Sunday, Feb. 15, at 6 p.m., One Sound Minnesota will host a concert and worship experience designed to be peaceful, welcoming and deeply human at Speak The Word Church, located at 515 Jersey Ave. S., Minneapolis, MN 55426. Organizers say the gathering is intended to create space for people to be themselves, to feel seen and to hear their city reflected back through music.
Hometown artists featured in the experience include visionary Darnell Davis, along with his group The Remnant, and fellow Minnesota artists Courtland Pickens, KNOWN MPLS, James Grear & Co., Jamar Esaw and Triad 4 Christ, Lawrence Miles, and Kennadi Hurst.
The artists will present music that celebrates resilience, faith, unity and hope. Through collective worship and shared presence, the event offers an opportunity for attendees to pause, reflect and remember that they are not alone.
When people sing together, something shifts. When voices rise in unity, perspective changes. When hope is restored in one room, it carries outward into neighborhoods, workplaces, schools and homes across Minnesota.
Organizers emphasized that the gathering is not political, divisive or performative. Instead, it is rooted in dignity, compassion and belonging.
One Sound Minnesota said it stands with all who believe in justice, freedom and the inherent worth of every human being, adding that healing begins when people are welcomed without condition and unity is practiced through action.
The event is open to families and individuals seeking peace and encouragement, community members longing for connection, faith leaders, artists and neighbors from every background. All are welcome.
